Recently moved to Little Rock and moved within walking distance of Kitchen Expresss, which is dangerous for waistline! The food is absolutely AMAZING. We've eaten there three times and haven't lived here a month yet.
I love this place I've been eating there since I've moved here 6 years ago my favorite is the meatloaf On Thursday and the dressing on Sundays the servings are more than enough and it's my FAVORITE soul food restaurant in little Rock!!!!!
The pork chops was delicious and rice and gravy was heavenly. The banana pudding was yummmmm.
I placed a call-in order. I was extremely pleased with the kindness of the young lady on the phone. I went through drive thru to pick up, and again this young lady was as kind as could be with a beautiful smile and personality. I ordered Sausage, Hash browns, Scrambled Cheesy Eggs, Toast and a side of White Gravy. The food is mostly unseasoned which was great for me as I have high blood pressure. They included plenty of pepper and salt so you can season to taste. I mixed up everything and made a breakfast bowl. My grandchild and myself had plenty to eat and some left for lunch. The portions were very nice size. The food was hot and DELICIOUS !!! I would definitely return and I would also recommend them to anyone looking for great southern home cooked food. Thank you Kitchen Express for the fabulous experience.

Kitchen Express made me happy, happy, happy with their baked chicken, cabbage, peas, and yams! They served me delicious food that fed my body and my soul!
I had the baked chicken, mashed potatoes, broccoli and cheese casserole, and corn bread. Excellent home cooked meal. Everything was delicious. The service was great.
There's nothing like down-home cooking except Kitchen Express. If you're craving soul food, then swing by Asher St. in Little Rock to dine in or take out. I took peach cobbler home because I was full as a tick. I really enjoyed the feast, and I look towards another visit soon.
Today 11/16/2025 My husband and I ate here for the very first time we found out about this place from a relative who lived in Little rock and the food was amazing really down home cooked soul food. Staff was helpful being it was our first time they answered all my questions about how to order the food. We spent 29.00 for two ppl but the plates were full and satisfying whenever I go back to Little Rock this will definitely be our go to!!!
